ICHS Days of Thankfulness

Tuesday Nov 17:
A Student that wishes to remain anonymous shares the following:
It has been a wonderful year so far, even though we are going through a tough time.  I am thankful for the wonderful teachers teaching us wonderful things.  I am doing much better this school year, I have all A's and one B-I love my teachers this year.
Thank you!

11/13 Friday:
Ms. Bolen is thankful for all of her students, who push and challenge her every day. She is especially thankful for her drama club students because they always know how to put a smile on her face!

As we enter the season of thanksgiving, I, Mrs. Robinson, challenge us to reframe our thinking-Instead of saying “I have to do such and such,” replace it with “I get to do such and such.”  Hopefully with this simple reframing exercise, we will be aware of the great situations, relationships and or activities that are happening here at Creek.

For example:  I am thankful for the colors of construction orange and yellow.  Yes, that is an unusual thing to be thankful for.  However, every day as an ICHS teacher I am greeted by many construction workers dressed in orange and yellow heading to work.  They are building our new Indian Creek High School.  Our local community supported the levy and in 2022 we will be educating Creek students in an awesome new school.

We will begin our highlights of thankfulness and gratefulness at ICHS tomorrow.  If you are interested in sharing your thoughts, please respond to the email from Mrs. Julie Robinson.
