FCCLA, The Family, Career and Community Leaders of America chapter at Indian Creek High School is lead by advisors Mrs. Julie Robinson and Mrs. Jennifer Belt .
The club has organized and participated in several projects over the last three years. Mrs. Robinsons class on Leadership and Community Engagement has used the LEAD 4 CHANGE program. Students in those classes have identified issues and implemented programs. Those programs have included: a local food drive, the ICHS Career Fair, and candy bar sale with educational messages on the harmful effects of vaping. This last fall, the students organized and walked in FCCLA virtual run4red walk. Please check out pictures of these events on the Indian Creek High School website and facebook pages.
All high school students are asked to wear Red on Friday for FCCLA week and teachers wear their free “Beyond Measure” shirts. All students and teachers will have an opportunity to participate in an interactive bulletin board on Friday during Flex. Everyone that participates will receive a red carnation for Beyond Measure week.
