Transition to Online Learning Days Due to Exhausted Snow Days
CCE Virtual Learning Instructions
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am writing to inform you that due to the recent snow and weather-related closures, we have now exhausted all of our allotted snow days for the school year. As a result, beginning January 27, we will be transitioning to online learning days for grades K-4 for future inclement weather closures. Preschool students are not expected to participate in online learning as their attendance is not mandatory.
While we understand that this change may require adjustment, we believe that utilizing online learning days will help ensure that our students do not fall behind in their academic progress. Our teachers and staff are committed to providing engaging, effective virtual instruction, and we will be working closely to ensure that students have the necessary resources to succeed.
Here are a few important details regarding this transition:
- School devices: will NOT be provided for these assignments
- Clever Classroom and Google Classroom: are the online learning platforms used for instruction. Detailed instructions for accessing these platforms are provided on Cross Creek Elementary’s website https://cces.iclsd.org/ titled “Virtual Learning Instructions.”
